Renee Pegram is a certified Medical Assistant/NCT that has been with the orthopedic group since 2008. Renee grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas and moved to Fort Worth in 2002 with her husband, Jim. They have three talented, awesome, and hilarious children: Kaleb, Taylor and Katelyn.
Renee loves watching Taylor play live music, Katelyn play softball and is enjoying Kaleb being closer to home after serving time in the Air Force. Renee also enjoys watching Kansas Jayhawk's basketball games and has a love for interior design. In Renee's free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and living the lake life as often as she can.
Patient care is a passion for Renee. She wants every patient that walks through the door to feel comfortable, safe, cared for and to leave having knowledge about their diagnosis and treatment. Renee has been in a patient roll herself, she previously had shoulder and knee surgery. Renee tries to incorporate her experiences and recovery time into her compassionate patient care.
In 2018 Renee was awarded the "Mosaic Pin Award" from Texas Health Resources. This award honored and recognizes THR employees who are and have demonstrated outstanding support of diversity and inclusion in the workforce and the communities we serve. Renee has also served as a volunteer on the Family Advisory Council at Cook Children's Medical Center.
